1. Can myhome247 install the system for me?

Unfortunately not - as the myhome247 system is designed to make the installation as smooth as possible just about anybody can fit our system. Our devices are supplied with sticky pads and can be fitted within seconds. The cameras are supplied with standing feet enabling them to be placed on furniture or shelves within your home making them as discreet as possible. The controller can be located right next to your current broadband router.

2. I have a faulty products, who should I contact?

You can now publish a comprehensive FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) knowledgebase that allows your customers to find answers to questions about your products and services and much more.

3. What are your support Hours?

4. What do I need to set up myhome247? 

  • A broadband connection- this can also be a mobile broadband connection
  • A broadband router with at least 2 unused port/socket for an Ethernet cable to connect the controller and one for the camera's receiving Homeplug.
  • A mobile phone
  • 30 mins to get the equipment set-up
  • That's all!

You will not need:

  • Any tools at all- unless you want to screw the detectors into the wall but it's not required.
  • to be a rocket scientist it's really simple!
  • Permission from your landlord
  • To take a day off work to wait for a security company to visit site to quote
  • To take another day off work to wait for an engineer to make a mess in your home

    7. What happens if I lose a key for my keypad?

    Simply visit your secure web account and deactivate that fob and reactivate a new one. The old keyfob will not be able to access your system when deactivated and if somebody ...

    8. What happens if the broadband fails at home?

    Our system will alert you if the broadband fails at home and when it comes back online. Our system package does not currently facilitate a built-in back-up but we do offer a 3G back-up at an extra charge.

    9. What if I can't respond to an alert?

    myhome247 also offer the ability to alert our nominated Alarm Receiving Centre so you don't miss any alerts from your home.

    13. Why no external siren?

    myhome247 does not have an external siren as we have a rapid self install solution, our wireless internal 110Dbi sirens however can be positioned throughout the house.
